In this book the author uses Articles 27-29 of the Belgic Confession to measure the challenges the immigrant churches in Canada faced when confronted
with the existing churches in their vicinity. In the second part of the book, he looks with a historical perspective at how unity of faith is vital to church unity.
Thirdly he shows how church unity was endangered, and preserved, with the Liberation of the Dutch churches in the 1940s.
